Anyone who knows classic Texas Metal knows that Mike Soliz was one of the premier vocalists of the era.  Mike first came to the forefront of Texas Metal as vocalist / frontman of Austin's Militia.  Originally a drummer for a few garage level Metal bands, Mike joined Militia shortly after its formation in early 1984.  His high pitched wails quickly became a trademark of his vocal style that continued throughout his work with Militia and later with Assalant.  His use of multi-layered, melodic screams as intro pieces to many songs gave them an unmistakable and unique sound.  Now, TMU presents in MP3 format a compilation of these intro screams.  See for yourself why Mike Soliz was such an original and powerful part of the Texas Metal Underground.
